Allentown police investigate stabbings at party

ALLENTOWN, PA -

Allentown police are investigating the stabbing of two people that appeared to have happened during a party early Sunday morning.

Police say it happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at an apartment on the 1700 block of South Idaho Street.

A 17-year-old male suffered a stab wound to the chest. A 21-year-old woman was stabbed in the abdomen.

Both were transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. As of 11 a.m. Sunday, they were both listed in stable condition, according to police.

Police say they have interviewed people who attended the party.

No further information will be released until the victims can be interviewed.

At this point, no suspects have been identified, police said.
