A Lehigh County restaurant and lodge has reopened with a new name and a new look.

ALBURTIS, Pa. -

A Lehigh County restaurant and lodge has reopened with a new name and a new look.

The Alburtis Tavern on Main Street in Alburtis borough is having its soft opening Friday.

The building used to be the Iron Horse but it was condemned earlier this year.

New owners bought the building and spent six months renovating.

"This has been a grueling learning experience for me. From day one I did things I never thought I could do, and it came out better than i thought it would be," said owner Terry Bender.

The owners say they've been getting a lot of support from the community and they are giving back.

They say all proceeds from their home beer Lochrich Lager will go to the fire company.
