READING, Pa. -

The arrival of Albright College's largest freshman class in the school's history will not come without some traffic troubles.

Freshmen move-in day is expected to bring approximately 2,400 people to Abright's campus in the College Heights section of Reading on Thursday, officials said.

Motorists can expect heavy traffic and serious delays on Rockland, North 11th and North 13th streets, College Avenue (Kelchner Field) and Bern, Richmond and Linden streets between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. and again from 4:30 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Those who can avoid the area are advised to consider alternate routes, official said.

Albright's class of 2017 consists of 675 freshmen who represent more than 20 states and 12 countries. The class is 60 percent larger than the Class of 2016, school officials said.
