LIVE: Jim Thorpe, PA

We may have some nuisance snow on the ground Friday, but it won't be sticking around for long: we have a nice warm up for the weekend!

Late Thursday into Friday, our area experienced snow accumulations of over three inches in parts of Sussex County, N.J., to a little more than a coating in parts of the Lehigh Valley and then down to nothing in western Berks and Schuylkill counties.

The snow will continue Friday morning for parts of far eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey.

By the afternoon, a rain or snow shower could still be lingering around the region (especially to the east), but by the mid to late afternoon everything will pull out of here.

Otherwise, we'll watch the clouds gradually break up from west to east and highs extended into the seasonable mid 40s.

As high pressure continues to build in for Saturday, look for the clouds to continue to clear out overnight and throughout the day.

Highs Saturday will be near 50.

The clear skies will stick around into Sunday morning, so the day will start out with plenty of sunshine. However, that sunshine will fade as we head into and through the afternoon hours as the clouds begin to increase.

Temperatures will be close to 60 on Sunday.
