Three Berks County women accused of taking advantage of a mentally disabled woman appeared in court Wednesday afternoon.

Three Berks County women accused of taking advantage of a mentally disabled woman appeared in court Wednesday afternoon.

They are accused of illegally using thousands of dollars without the victim's knowledge.

The victim in this case is a mentally disabled woman from Berks County. She had a large trust fund worth about $500,000.

Police say Jeannette Snider, 75, illegally accessed the victim's money and was writing checks to herself and two of her friends.

Both of those friends, Margaret Bradley and Sandra Kreider, waived their preliminary hearings.

During Snider's hearing, a representative from ARC Alliance, the company she worked for, testified about her job title and responsibilities.

Police also took the stand to testify as to what evidence they have for this case.

All three women are facing numerous felony charges including forgery, theft by deception and receiving stolen property.

All charges against Jeannette Snider were held for court.
