ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Police are trying to figure out how a car got onto a set of railroad tracks in Allentown on Tuesday.

A car mistakenly drove onto the tracks at 31st Street SW and Industrial Avenue in around 6:30 a.m., police said.

When the car stalled, the driver called the police, who in turn called Norfolk Southern.

The train wasn't able to stop before hitting the car and pushing it down the tracks.

The driver managed to get out of the car before impact. No one was injured.
