Tips Take Investigators On Gary Redner Case Down South

Anonymous tips called in to Crime Alert Berks County have led state police investigating the beating death of Gary Redner out of state.

They said the detectives on the case recently traveled down south to interview some individuals, but they declined to provide any details about what they may have learned or whether any suspects have been developed.

Redner, an executive for the Berks County-based grocery store chain that bears his family's name, was found dead near his home in Lower Heidelberg Township in March 2008.

Crime Alert is offering a reward of up to $111,000 for information that leads to his killer's arrest.
