ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

As the Winter Olympics get underway in Sochi today, many parents and family members of Team USA will be watching the games from their living rooms, instead of the slopes and stadiums in Russia because of the recent terror threats.

So how will their absence affect the athletes, and how do the athletes shake off any security fears they may have in order to go for the gold?

Philadelphia mental training coach and former professional athlete Dr. K.C. Wilder stopped by 69 News at Sunrise to share some interesting insight.
