A teenager from Reading is facing charges for allegedly taking a knife to an alternative school near Pottstown.

NORTH COVENTRY TWP., Pa. -

A teenager from Reading is facing charges for allegedly taking a knife to an alternative school near Pottstown.

Officers were called out to Delaware Valley High School in North Coventry Twp., Chester Co., on Friday.

Police said the 17-year-old student was taken into custody.

D.V.H.S. is a school for kids with behavioral problems.

The school made headlines last month after 69 News aired video of a brawl between students on a school bus.
