READING, Pa. -

Teenagers and young adults are helping others and learning some valuable skills.

Participants in the Tulpehocken Area School District's summer transition program served lunch at the Opportunity House in Reading.

They do different community service projects every Thursday.

Organizers said they want participants to know how to access the resources they need and how to live independently.
