Styx and Foreigner will share stage at Musikfest
Two of America's classic rock bands will bring their stash of hit songs to Musikfest in August.
Styx and Foreigner bring their 1970s and 1980s brand of music as headliners on the Sands Steel Stage at 7 p.m. August 7.
The first act to record four consecutive triple platinum albums, Styx got its start in Chicago in the early 1970s and had its first hit single with “Lady." Other big hits include, "Come Sail Away," "Renegade," Blue Collar Man," and "Fooling Yourself."
Chart-topping hit maker Foreigner debuted in 1976 and over the years has had 30 Top 30 hits,including nine in the Top 10. Among its biggest singles are "I Want To Know What Love Is," plus "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Double Vision," Hot Blooded," "Feels Like The First Time," and "I Don't Want To Live Without You."
In 2012, three of Foreigner's biggest songs were included in the blockbuster movie Rock of Ages.
Tickets, at $44 and $54, go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday to ArtsQuest members, and March 29 to the public.

The festival runs August 2-11 and offers 500 musical performances on 14 stages throughout Bethlehem.
