There may soon be a new St. Luke's Hospital in the works in Monroe County.

BARTONSVILLE, Pa. -

There may soon be a new St. Luke's Hospital in the works in Monroe County.

The Stroud Township Planning Commission will be reviewing St. Luke's conditional use application for a proposed hospital in Bartonsville at the intersection of Bluebird Drive and Route 611.

A township supervisor says conditional use is required due to the amount of traffic that would be generated by the hospital.

The hospital construction plan includes two hospital buildings and a medical office building.

Officials say the project would be completed by 2020
