HARRISBURG, Pa. -

A hospital in the coal region is getting a boost from Harrisburg.

The Miners Campus of St. Luke's Hospital in Coaldale, Schuylkill County has received a $750,000 grant from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program.

The hospital is expanding and upgrading its surgical suite.

It's receiving a total of $1.5-million in state support plus private donations.
