Snow storm leaves Winter fun for all

The storm may be over but it left behind nearly half a foot in some parts of the viewing area. As folks woke up to everything covered in white they wasted no time freeing their lives from nature's freeze.
"It's way too much," said Julianna Baunach.
For many people, the snow dropped on the region is a hassle.
"I would love to move to Florida," laughed Jim Kruge. "If I never saw snow again I'd be very happy."
Instead of complaining about the winter weather, everyone behind the Municipal Ice Rink in Bethlehem took advantage of the snowy conditions. Sledding hills across the Lehigh Valley were packed Saturday. Families and kids donned in heavy jackets, colorful snowsuits and knitted hats enjoyed the first major snowfall this winter.
"We just played in the snow and then we went to go here to go sledding," shared 9-year-old Eliza Fihlman.
Kids and kids at heart laughed and yelled as they glided on plastic sleds.
"It's really really really steep," said 8-year-old Benjamin Kaczor.
"It's probably one of the bigger hills in the area," explained 13-year-old Sammy Kraihanzal. "So it's just a great place to come and hang out."
"You go really fast and our sled usually turns in the middle," shared Fihlman.
Ramps erected on the white landscape had many riders trying their luck.
"We're just knee boarding," added 13-year-old Harrison Fandel. "Trying to go off jumps and stuff."
For one and half year old Ella, this was her first time whizzing down the hill.
"Scary but fun," said mom Jessica Holecz. "Well I thought we were going to go faster than we did but she loved it, she had fun."
Ella was more focused on the new white food she discovered then jumping in the brightly-hued sled.
"She wants to eat it," smiled Holecz. "She's not quite sure what it is."
While the afternoon melted away, the fun didn't stop at the sledding hills.
