A massive sinkhole that opened in Bethlehem yesterday has temporarily shut down a busy soup kitchen.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

A massive sinkhole that opened in Bethlehem yesterday has temporarily shut down a busy soup kitchen.

The Trinity Soup Kitchen is one of several buildings affected by a water main break that opened this sinkhole on East Market Street.

Two homes were damaged and a boil water advisory has been in effect.

The soup kitchen must stay shut until it passes water quality tests according to a post on its Facebook page.

It's expected to remain closed until at least Wednesday.

In the meantime the New Bethany soup kitchen nearby is welcoming visitors from Trinity.
