Three days after her disappearance there is still no trace of a Hunterdon County woman who vanished on her way home.

LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. -

Days after her disappearance, there is still no trace of a New Jersey woman who vanished on her way home.

While New Jersey State Police divers continued their work in the D and R Canal in Lambertville, Hunterdon Co., hundreds of volunteers scoured the wooded areas for Sarah Majoras.

"She was a fixture in the community," said Bob Short, a search party member.

Security cameras caught images of Majoras walking across the New Hope-Lambertville bridge early Saturday morning.

Majoras, 39, went to watch a band at the restaurant where she works, John and Peter's in New Hope.

"She was awesome, just a nice person. She didn't have any enemies," said Patti Gabriel, a friend and coworker.

Three days after Majoras disappeared, the usually cheerful landmark is tearful. Her co-workers and friends gathered, hoping for word.

"Sarah is just such a positive person. If you had a bad shift, you would forget about it instantly when you were amongst her presence," said friend Chris Lento.

Friends said Majoras is also extremely bright, bordering on nerdy, with a love of books and her daily New York Times crossword puzzle.

Majoras has worked at John and Peter's for 15 years, often sharing her eclectic sense of music with customers.

Investigators said there is no evidence Majoras met with foul play. Her friends said they just want her back.

"Somebody has got to know something," said Jennifer Wohl, another friend and coworker. "So please, if anybody knows anything, if you have seen her just please, please, please, help us please."

Anyone with information about Sarah Majoras is urged to call the Lambertville police at 609-397-3132 or the Hunterdon County prosecutor's office at 908-788-1129. All calls are kept confidential.
