Schuylkill Vally will host Berks Catholic in a battle of undefeated teams. Muhlenberg will play Governor Mifflin in what the Muhls are calling a statement game.

BERKS COUNTY, Pa. -

There are three undefeated football teams left in Berks II. On Friday night, two of those heavyweights will throw down in a pivotal midseason showdown as Schuylkill Valley (5-0) hosts Berks Catholic (5-0).

BC features one of the most dangerous backfields in Berks County.

But the Panthers defense is honing in on that rushing attack this week in practice to make sure they don't get burned come Friday.

The team is confident that if the defense can stay disciplined, they'll be able to take the Saint's running game away and force them to do something they don't want to do.

Muhlenberg (4-1) has itself a big test within Berks I on Friday. The Muhls will host Governor Mifflin (3-2).

Both teams are 2-0 in the league, and are looking to separate themselves from the pack.

The Mustangs throttled Muhlenberg last year 48-14. But it's a different story for the Muhls in 2012 and you can bet they've had this game circled for a long time.
