Rush on for last-minute income tax filers

The mad dash is on for procrastinators looking to get a very important postmark. The deadline to finish your taxes is midnight Tuesday.
"I was up here for work," said Katie Sieckman, from Philadelphia. "I do outside sales, so I was calling on a client in the area and then just finding the nearest post office."
April 15 is the tax filing deadline, and that had some people rushing to the post office in Easton.
"We dropped them off a little late," added Sieckman. "We picked them up a little late, and then by the time you review and get everything out, it takes a couple of days."
Some have filed taxes on the federal level, but what about Pennsylvania?
"I remembered yesterday," said Roberta Day, from Easton. "So I came and did it today. I forgot."
Some late-filers we talked to said they've noticed that their ranks have thinned out.
"I didn't hear anybody talking about it," said Day. "Just me and one other person."
Maybe that's because tax preparing software makes it easy to get the job done online.
"Like you see on the commercials, 'Have you moved? Yes,' and it will walk you through the next steps of it," said Sieckman.
Either way, write the check, file an extension, or find out how much money you'll be getting back.
And then after finishing the yearly ritual...
"You can sleep well tonight," said one man as he was leaving the post office.
