Roy Halladay retires after 16 MLB seasons.

Roy Halladay's baseball career has come to an end, the 203 game winner announced his retirement on Monday at the Winter Meetings.

After last season, a season in which Roy Halladay struggled and struggled with injuries. The Phillies faced a tough question... whether or not to re-sign him for the coming season and keep him in Philly. It turns out, that's not a decision they had to make, today Roy Halladay announced that he has decided to retire. Halladay pitched sixteen MLB seasons, the final four of those with the Phillies. In Philadelphia he threw a regular season perfect game, and a playoff no-hitter, in the same season. He won a pair of Cy Young awards during his career and was as dominant as any pitcher in the game for many of those seasons.He retires with 203 career wins including5 as a Phillie.
