The Catasauqua Rough Riders open the PIAA Tournament on the road Friday, hoping to keep their football season alive with a win over Lake Lehman.

The Catasauqua Rough Riders accomplished the goal that was at the top of their list on Friday. With a win over Palisades, the Rough Riders became District 11 champions. The win is the shining moment of two years worth of hard work and great play on the football field. Now Catty has a new goal, to win a state championship. They need four more wins to make that a reality. The first of those would need to come this week as they travel up north to face Lake Lehman, a team that is almost the total opposite of Catty in the way they want to play offensively.
