Liz Kilmer joined the 69 News team in October 2013. You can catch her reporting weeknights for the Berks Edition.
Liz is thrilled to return to her home region after working as a reporter / videographer in Champaign, Illinois.
While in the Midwest, Liz single-handedly operated a bureau station for WAND-TV, the NBC-affiliate serving Central Illinois. Liz was responsible for pitching, shooting, writing, and editing stories nightly.
Liz now brings her experience to the station she grew up watching alongside her family, scattered all across the Lehigh Valley and southeastern PA.
She was raised in Montgomery County and received her bachelor's degree Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, in Media & Communication Studies from Ursinus College.
As a student, Liz interned for both CBS 3 Eyewitness News and Good Day Philly on FOX 29. She also worked for a radio station during a semester abroad in London.
When off-the-clock, Liz serves as a dedicated foodie and film buff.
