Jaccii Farris is an Emmy Award Winning Journalist who has reported around the globe. Jaccii joined the 69 News team in 2001. Since then, she has found meaningful ways to report the daily news that is important to the Lehigh Valley.
In addition to her reporting duties, Jaccii is the head of the WFMZ Documentary Unit, which has produced several Emmy nominated documentaries: Rhoads Opera House Fire; The Legacy of a Tragedy, Aftershocks: Earthquake in Haiti and Timebomb: Allentown Gas Explosion.
Jaccii is also the President of Julian Farris Films. JFF has partnered with WFMZ's Documentary Unit on several of its documentaries and is a regular participant in the local film festival circuit in the short film category.
Jaccii's most memorable assignments include working in Haiti after the devastating 2010 earthquake and covering the Team ReMax Balloon Race in Alice Springs Australia for CBS This Morning.
Jaccii was honored with an Emmy Award for her work in Haiti.
In her free time Jaccii likes to cook, garden and spend time with family and friends. She says she loves Pennsylvania for its wonderful people and its natural beauty.
