New details released in deadly home invasion investigation

HILLTOWN TWP., Pa. -

Investigators are on the lookout for a red Nissan sedan that they said was involved in the killing of a Bucks County man last month.

In a news conference Wednesday, police said they're looking for a car seen in surveillance video pulling next to a Lincoln pickup truck behind a Giant supermarket in Quakertown.

Joseph Canazaro, 48, was fatally shot during a home invasion, and his girlfriend and his 12-year-old son were tied up by two intruders inside Canazaro's home in Hilltown Township on Jan. 18.

The car is believed to be a red 2004 to 2008 four-door Nissan Maxima or Nissan Altima. It may have a discolored front right fender.

Anyone with additional information is asked to call Hilltown Twp. Police Department or the Bucks County detectives at 215-453-6011.
