Earl Twp. man charged following drug raid

READING, Pa. -

A raid turned up more than just drugs at a home in Earl Township on Friday.

Investigators in Berks and Montgomery counties held a news conference to announce charges against Michael Bentz.

Detectives said they've been watching Bentz since May, and they raided his home on Power Line Road on Friday.

Inside, they said they found three pounds of high-grade marijuana, which has a street value of about $20,000.

They also found methamphetamine, several guns and a stockpile of ammunition.
