The Quakertown football team has had a much better season in 2013, and the perfect ending would be a Turkey Day win over Pennridge.

Quakertown and Pennridge renew their Thanksgiving Day rivalry in a couple of days. For the first time in a few years, the Panthers go into that game after a winning season, and they have some momentum which has been rare in recent years. There is optimism in Quakertown, George Banas and his players have had a much better season. And they finished that season with some wins down the stretch to finish above the .500 mark. Now the perfect ending would be one last win at Poppy Yoder field over their rivals from Pennridge.
