POCONO SUMMIT, Pa. -

Police searched the home of a man they say burglarized the house across the street...and found quite a cache of items.

On Wednesday, Pocono Mountain Regional Police arrested Kirson Vasquez-Lantigua when they caught him hiding in an attic at 6298 Laurel Road in Stillwater Estates, Pocono Summit.

A neighbor called police when they saw 29-year-old Vasquez-Lantigua entering the home.

As part of the investigation, police searched Vasquez-Lantigua's house at 6299 Laurel Road, where they found a large cache of stolen property, including multiple guns, ammunition, electronics and jewelry.

Investigators also found narcotics, packaging material, scales and other drug paraphernalia.

Officials determined that the various items had been taken in other burglaries within the area.

Bail was set at $40,000 for Vasquez-Lantigua and police say additional charges are pending.

The investigation is ongoing.
