Police look for armed robber who held up Monroe County Turkey Hill

State police are on the lookout for a man who held up a convenience store in Monroe County over the weekend.

The incident happened around 11:40 p.m. Saturday night at the Turkey Hill mini mart on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Twp.

Police said a heavyset white man walked into the store, showed the clerk a pistol in his jacket, and made off with $158.50.

He was last seen traveling south on Weir Mountain Road toward Kunkletown.

He was wearing a black ski mask, black leather jacket and black jeans, driving a silver car.

Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Fern Ridge.
