Police look for armed men who waved gun at Lehigh County motel

UPPER MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. -

Two police departments in Lehigh County are on the lookout for two men who waved a gun around a motel office.

The Upper Macungie Twp. police said officers were called to the Lehigh Motor Inn at 5828 Memorial Drive around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Motel employees toldĀ  police that two men entered the business office, and one had a handgun.

The men were startled by something and ran away on foot in an unknown direction.

Officers from the South Whitehall Twp. police department assisted in checking around the area for the two men.

One man was described as a white male dressed all in black, with a hood pulled over his head. He was about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall.

The other man, who had the gun, was about 6 feet tall, also wearing all black, also with a hood over his head and a mask over his face.
