BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. -

A Northampton Community College student from York County was busted for dealing drugs on campus, officials said.

Andrew J. Arnold was arrested early Wednesday morning after admitting to selling pot from his Residence Hall dorm room at 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem Twp., Northampton Co., officials said.

Arnold made the admission after police searched his room and found a large bundle of marijuana weighing more than 100 grams (about a quarter-pound),  drug paraphernalia, including a scale with marijuana residue, three glass pipes, one wooden pipe and plastic baggies, and $176 in cash, officials said.

Arnold told police he paid more than $1,000 for the marijuana and that he has 10 to 15 regular customers, officials said.

Police were called to the NCC campus just at about 12:15 a.m., after Arnold had given campus security a small bag of marijuana while they were investigating several complaints of a marijuana smell coming from his room, officials said.

Arnold, 20, of 8538 Hickory Road, Felton, was arraigned on charges of possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $5,000 bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 2 p.m. Jan. 30.
