PEN ARGYL, Pa. -

A man was arrested after twice indecently assaulting the woman babysitting his young son, officials said.

Kyle A. Kleintop first grabbed the babysitter in the kitchen of his home in the 600 block of George Street, Pen Argyl, Northampton Co., at about 8:45 a.m. last Friday, about two hours after he returned home from work, officials said.

Kleintop forcibly kissed the babysitter, stuck his tongue in her mouth and bit her tongue, and then pushed her to the floor when she resisted, said officials, adding that Kleintop let her up when his 4-year-old son walked into the kitchen area.

Two hours later, after Kleintop had gone to bed, he again assaulted the babysitter when she went into his second floor bedroom to investigate a loud bang, officials said.

This time, Kleintop grabbed her face, pushed her into a wall and began pulling her toward him by yanking on her ankle and twisting her leg after she fell, officials said.

A friend who was in the house came to the babysitter's aid and took her and the 4-year-old boy to his apartment, officials said.

Kleintop, 24, was arraigned on two counts of indecent assault, simple assault and harassment and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $15,000 bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. Dec. 10.
