The parents of a convicted Northampton County sex offender are facing charges of their own.

PEN ARGYL, Pa. -

The parents of a convicted Northampton County sex offender are facing charges of their own.

Min Taek Kim and his wife Young Ran Kim are being charged with intimidating witnesses and failing to report suspected child abuse.

The couple owns ACE Education USA in Pen Argyl where their son, Richard, admitted to sexually abusing a foreign exchange student.

According to court documents the Kim's conducted several meetings with students on what they should and shouldn't say to investigators who were looking into the allegations against Richard.

Formal arraignments for the couple are scheduled for February 7th.
