COOPERSBURG, Pa. -

Police in Bucks County said they are still investigating a bank robbery that led to standoff in Lehigh County.

A SWAT team was called to a standoff just off Route 309 at Fairmount Street, near the Weis, in Cooperburg, Lehigh Co., around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

The standoff, officials said, stemmed from a robbery at the TD Bank in Quakertown, Bucks Co., around 8:45 p.m.

Initial reports gave a description of the perpetrator: a white man, approximately 6-feet tall, wearing a black skull cap, dark blue sweatshirt and dark blue pants.  He displayed a long-barrel handgun during the robbery.  He fled the scene in a four-door, newer model Cadillac.

Officials said the standoff ended just before midnight.
