There have been some setbacks on construction of a nearly $350-million resort in the Poconos.

TOBYHANNA TWP., Pa. -

There have been some setbacks on construction of a nearly $350-million resort in the Poconos.

Since breaking ground last fall, Monroe County officials say the planned Kalahari Resort has had some environmental issues.

An official tells us erosion controls on the site weren't implemented properly, leading to some pollution in the Swiftwater Creek.

The resort is repairing the issue and it's unlikely it will happen again, according to Craig Todd with the Monroe County Conservation District.

Officials say they'll continue to monitor the site, until its expected opening in 2015.
