LEHIGHTON, Pa. -

A tree from Carbon County will help brighten the White House this holiday season.

Our cameras tagged along as officials from the White House visited the Crystal Spring Tree Farm II in Lehighton.

After some searching they crowned a 19-and-a-half foot Douglas Fir the winner.

''For them to be here and pick this tree this is literally our nation's Christmas tree right here," said Chris Botek of Crystal Spring Tree Farm II. "It's going to be in the Blue Room.''

Botek will personally present the tree to First Lady Michelle Obama later this year.
