A Lehigh Valley ambulance service is taking officials from all levels of government to school.
Northern Valley EMS held its annual roundtable discussion Monday afternoon at its headquarters in North Whitehall Township.
Many issues were addressed including establishing direct payment for calls in which Northern Valley provides emergency care but doesn't transport sometime to the hospital.
There's actually a bill in Harrisburg that would help do that.
Northern Valley is transitioning to a staff filled more with paid positions rather than volunteers, it's leadership told 69 News. The EMS is having trouble finding enough volunteers for its staff.
It is not becoming a for-profit entity, as we reported on air.
