UPPER MOUNT BETHEL TWP., Pa. -

A former Northampton County "stump dump" may be recycled into an organic compost plant.

The new owner says he's not sure when work on the former Stine property in Lower Mount Bethel Township will start.

He says he's waiting for "the go-ahead" from the Department of Environmental Protection.

The future of the Stine farm has long been a controversial topic in Northampton County.

The place caught fire several times and the previous owners declared bankruptcy five times.
