ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

A new man will be at the helm of William Allen High School starting Friday.

The decision was announced at Thursday night's school board meeting.

He was Principal in Residence at Louis E. Dieruff High School for the 2011-2012 school year, then held Assistant Principal positions at Louis E. Dieruff High School (2012-2013) and William Allen High School.

Shafnisky holds a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University, and a Master of Science in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University.
