Nazareth grad killed in pedestrian crash in Chester County

A 2010 graduate of Nazareth Area High School in Northampton County was struck by a car and killed just days after his 21st birthday, police said.

A 2010 graduate of Nazareth Area High School in Northampton County was struck by a car and killed just days after his 21st birthday, police said.

Joseph Pietroforte was killed in an accident around 5:15 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of South Bolmar Street in West Chester, Chester Co., police said.

Pietroforte, of Upper Nazareth Township, just turned 21 on Saturday.

According to Pietroforte's Facebook page, he was studying criminal justice at West Chester University.
