Allentown, PA -

>>>We start on the mat tonight, and Parkland has been a top tier wrestling team for a few years now, but they don't always get the recognition that Easton and Bethlehem Catholic seem to get. The Trojans opened up some eyes last week, when they knocked off the Rovers 42-17, winning the final nine bouts. Tonight they hoped to continue making a name for themselves as they welcomed Nazareth to Trojan Gym.The Blue Eagles also entered this one with an early season 1-0 record in the LVC, and took the top spot in their Nazareth Invitational to kick off the season.

-Opening bout, 170 pounds, Nazareth's Connor Williams taking on Parkland's Marques Sturdivant, Williams wastes little time getting the fall at 1:02 of the match, Blue Eagles up 6-0

-Nicolini Sevi would get a tech fall at 182 pounds to give Nazareth an 11-0 lead…then at 195 pounds, Parkland's Naze Haddad goes on to pin Nazareth's Matt Madara 3:53 into the bout, cutting the lead to 11-6

-Parkland then takes the lead at 220 pounds, when Omar Haddad facing Nazareth's Josh Golden gets the fall at 4:53 of their match, Trojans up 12-11

-Nazareth bounces back at heavyweight, Brandon Lance making short work of Parkland's Alex Neith, getting the fall at 1:08 of the bout…Nazareth goes on to win 10 of the 14 matches and double up Parkland, 42-21
