MontCo offering free flu shots
It's not too late to get your flu shot.
The Montgomery County Health Department is offering free flu shots to county residents.
According to the health department, influenza can occur at any time. In recent seasons, most infections have occurred in January and February.
Getting vaccinated in December or even later will still be beneficial. Most people six months of age and older should get a flu vaccine every year!
Immunizations - both flu shots and nasal spray -- are available as follows:
Norristown Health Center

Tuesdays & Thursdays— all ages on a walk-in basis from 9:00am-3:00pm*
Pottstown Health Center

Mondays— all ages on a walk-in basis from 9:00am-3:00pm*
Wednesdays—children under 19 years old by appointment only (times vary), please call for an appointment*
Willow Grove Eastern Courthouse Annex

*No immunizations will be provided on December 24, 2012 through January 1, 2013.
