Heavy snow blanketed the region Monday, and it wasn't only a hazard for drivers but a headache for those trying to dig out at home.
"You get used to it, but you shovel out and keep going," said Jeff Rose, of Hamburg, Berks Co.
"Yeah, this is probably one of the worst snow storms we have had in years, I think," said Donna Fager, of West Pottsgrove Twp., Montgomery Co.
Many said the storm brought much heavier snow than previous storms this winter, requiring more energy and time to dig out.
"It is pretty heavy. You just have to get it out the best you can," said Rose.
A lot of residents told us they had to halt their plans because of the messy conditions.
"It certainly makes it a little more difficult to be outside with certain activities," said Phil Kistler, of Hamburg.
"It makes it pretty much impossible to do anything," said Will Scioscia, of Hamburg.
And people are counting down the days until spring.
"I hate it a lot. I am getting real tired of this stuff. Virginia sounds good right now," said Scioscia.
