A man whose walking across the country to raise money for St. Jude's Children's Hospital is bringing his message to the Lehigh Valley.
Our cameras caught up with Mario Landeros in Easton earlier Thursday night.
He's from Los Angeles.
That's where he started his journey in May of last year.
He says he's been volunteering with children who have life-threatening illnesses for years now.
But he wanted to do something more.
"I wanted to raise a lot of money and I'm not someone who's in the public eye a lot like celebrities," said Maio Landeros. "So I thought I really have to do something kind of extreme to raise the kind of money I want to raise."
Landeros plans to end his journey next month in Portland, Maine.
So far he's raised about $8,000.
