BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

A man admitted he raped a 20-year-old woman who was unable to move because she was under the influence of a controlled substance, officials said.

Johann Fermin-Jensen raped the woman in her bedroom on Feb. 27, 2012, after she had texted him at 2 a.m. to look in on her because she was using the controlled substance, officials said.

Fermin-Jensen went into the victim's bedroom three times, and the victim told police on Feb. 28 that she was aware of being sexually assaulted, even though she could not move, officials said.

On March 5 at police headquarters, Fermin-Jensen, accompanied by an attorney, denied that he raped the woman and agreed to take a lie detector test, but when Fermin-Jensen failed the test three weeks later, he confessed, officials said.

Court papers do not list the age of Fermin-Jensen, who lives in the 2600 block of Melina Court in Bethlehem.

He was arraigned Wednesday on charges of rape, sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and indecent assault and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $250,000 bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 11 a.m. April 10.
