LEHIGH TWP., Pa. -

A man was arrested after pinning down his girlfriend with a full body press and then biting her, officials said.

Aaron M. Krause chomped on Jennifer Dyson's right hand in their home at 3811 Teak Drive, Lehigh Twp., Northampton Co., at 12:20 a.m. Friday as she was trying to escape from Krause, who had laid on top of her and would not allow her to get up, officials said.

Dyson told police she and Krause were lying in bed and that he had been drinking when he began to yell, officials said.

After the altercation, Krause got up and threw their 14-month-old child's toys around the living room, damaging a wall, officials said.

Krause, 30, was arraigned on assault and harassment charges and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $7,500 bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 11 a.m. Nov. 5.
