EASTON, Pa. -

Police have put the bite on a man nicknamed "Gator," who is facing charges after almost $16,000 worth of stolen property was found in his apartment storage area seven months ago, officials said.

Harold J. "Gator" Buskirk III was arrested Thursday on a warrant that was issued on Aug. 23, officials said.

Police raided the rear storage area of Buskirk's apartment at 115 Northampton St., Easton, on March 19 and found items reported stolen from five different people, officials said.

The items included several laptop and desktop computers, memory cards, CDs, DVDs and hair-cutting equipment, officials said.

Buskirk, 34, was arraigned on a charge of receiving stolen property and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $15,000 bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. Oct. 12.
