ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

An 18-year-old Parkland High School graduate is leaving quite a mark on the race track.

Carter Fartuch has been traveling around the country, competing in go-kart and formula car races.

He's just coming off a win in the F-Series Gear-up Challenge and he's been in several races where he's gone up against seasoned professional drivers.

Carter can been seen racing at the Lehigh Valley Grand Prix where he first caught the racing bug back in 2009.

"I just came here just to have fun and ended up going on to the junior league, ended up winning every race, and it really started to kick start from there," said Fartuch.

Carter says his ultimate dream is to become a full-time professional race car driver.
