The Lehigh and Lafayette basketball teams joined the rest of the Patriot League at Media Day Wednesday to talk about the upcoming season.

The college basketball season is just around the corner, and today they began talking about the upcoming year at Patriot League Media Day.  As you might imagine, a lot of the talk centered around defending league champion Lehigh.  The Mountain Hawks earned the top spot in the preseason Patriot League poll, Lafayette was picked in a tie for fourth. as the coaches spoke to the media today their admiration for what Lehigh did last year became apparent pretty quickly, and so did their desire to knock the Mountain Hawks from the top of the league, a mindset that Lehigh's players expected and fully understand.   The Lafayette men are picked fourth in the league's preseason poll, and that's no surprise after the graduation of two 1000 point scorers and the uncertain status of their veteran point guard.  The Leopards have 9 freshmen and sophomores on their roster and tough non-league games at Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, and Stanford.
