Lehigh and Lafayette fall in league games

The Lehigh and Lafayette basketball teams both lost at home Wednesday night in Patriot League play. Lehigh fell to Army by 3 points, Lafayette lost to Bucknell by 10.

The Lehigh and Lafayette basketball teams both lost at home Wednesday night in Patriot League play. Lehigh fell to Army by 3 points, Lafayette lost to Bucknell by 10.

Lehigh and Army battled all night, but Army finished with a 79-76 victory at Stabler Arena.  The Mountain Hawks had a couple of chances to tie the game at the end but couldn't even the score.  Army was led by Kyle Wilson's 23 points, the Mountain Hawks were led by Mackey McKnight's 19.

Lafayette trailed at the half to Bucknell but made a second half run to push the Bison to the final buzzer.  It was an offensive showcase in the 2nd half, each team scoring over 50 points in the second half of action.  Ben Brackney led Bucknell with 25 points.  Dan Trist led Lafayette with 21.
