UPPER MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. -

A Lehigh County man has a million reasons to be happy after receiving one heck of a check.

Rickie Robertson matched all five numbers in Monday night's Cash 5 drawing to win the $1 million jackpot.

For nearly seven years, Robertson has worked as a parts coordinator at Deer Country Farm and Lawn in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh Co., but everything changed this week when he bought a few extra lottery tickets.

"On my way home, I just decided to stop at the mini market," recalled Robertson.  "Went in and got $7 worth of quick picks, and the rest is history. Ha-ha."

Robertson, 56, of Breinigsville, has been playing Cash 5 for the last six months, and Monday he cashed in big.  His $7 scored him the $1 million jackpot.  He matched all five numbers -- 2-13-20-41-42.

"When I seen the numbers come up, that they were all there, I couldn't believe it," smiled Robertson.  "I was just trembling, just trembling."

Robertson immediately called his brother, and after realizing what he had won, tried unsuccessfully to sleep through the night. They drove to Harrisburg on Tuesday to claim the $1 million prize.

"We headed back and went to work, very dead tired, but I went to work," Robertson said.

That's the way Robertson wants it.  He told us he has no plans to change anything about his daily routine.

As for what Robertson plans to do with the money, he said his first priority is buying a new house.

"I want something brand new. It's mine. It's laid out the way I want. It's all the colors I want. Everything in it is what I want, and the rest of the money is going to be invested," explained Robertson.  "I don't have to worry about nothing. Just get up in the morning, go to work. That's it, Ha-ha."

Robertson grabbed the winning ticket at the Top Star Express in Trexlertown.  The store will get a $5,000 bonus for selling it.

The odds of winning the jackpot prize for Cash 5 are one in 962,598.  After the federal withholding, Robertson will walk away with $750,000.
