ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

A Lehigh County judge isn't ruling out the death penalty for a man accused in a double homicide that rocked the quiet borough of Alburtis.

In a court filing made public Thursday, the judge denied all pre-trial motions filed on behalf of Brandin Kasick. He's charged with robbing and killing 82-year-old Althea Walbert and her daughter, Jeanette, last March.

The latest court documents indicate Kasick made a substantial purchase of jewelry after the killings.

The judge's ruling means Kasick could face the death penalty. She also ruled that testimony from Kasick's underage girlfriend will be allowed in court.
